Good Golly Miss Molly. This is a big event. You should really come. But how can you come? Well, here’s the skinny:
WHAT: The Internship and Networking Fair. As an SDA student, you must complete 300 hours of internships. This is how a lot of people get them.
WHEN: Wednesday, 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
WHERE: Seattle University, Student Center 160, the La Roux conference room.
WHO: You, silly billy. Also, members from at least 16 different schools. Private liberal arts, community colleges, big publics, online campuses. You name it, they are there.
WHY: This is one of our biggest events, academically speaking. There’s an entire committee dedicated to this fair. I was on it last year. We put in a lot of work, and Erin Swezey manages nearly superhuman feats of networking. Sarah Thomson has spent the past six months working on this one event. It’s kind of a big deal. It’s also a lot of fun. I accidentally chatted up some academic advisors about over-sharing. Even after that, they offered me an internship.
If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail us, or check out our Facebook Event. Wait, you’re not in the SUSDA Facebook Group? Well, you’re a pal, I can let you in, no problem.
