SUSDA’s Member of the Week for Spring Quarter Week 1 is Errold Nabong! Here’s a little bit about Errold:
Where do you work and what do you do?
I work at Bellevue College in Enrollment & Registrar Services as a Student Records Specialist. I am responsible for assisting the campus community with various admission, registration, and evaluation inquiries. More specifically, I am the “go-to” person for transcript requests and waitlist questions. I also serve on a campus committee committed to improving communication and processes within student services and between student services and instruction.
Interesting fact about you:
An interesting fact about me is that, when I was in fifth grade, I was selected by the music teacher at Beacon Hill Elementary to be part of a singing group, and we sang on KIRO 7 News.
How do you de-stress?
I like to de-stress by playing tennis, listening to music, singing karaoke, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I see myself coordinating new student orientations at a university in the West Coast. Additionally, in five years, I envision myself working toward a nutrition degree.
What would you like to see within SUSDA?
Within SUSDA, I would like to see more opportunities and events that challenge students to step outside their comfort zone and that allow students to embrace people’s unique characteristics.
